A child who is exposed to a multitude of experiences, as opposed to being solely focused on book-learning, is the kind of child who grows up to excel socially, emotionally and professionally in an inter-dependent and complex world. These influences are gently introduced into the child’s perspective over his or her time at Cambridge Junior through our co-curricular activities.
To aim is help help the kids explore life and its subjects via a structured approach.
Art & Craft
To nurture the creative spirit we have hundreds of fantastic crafts to engage the creativity. These activities are the perfect way to create a day of fun for your little ones.
Music
In Kindergarten Music class, the goal is to bring the music out from a child not to impose it artificially. Vocal & Instrumental music are formerly taken up in the school.
Sports
The children participate in a wide range of sports events, cheer up their teammates and learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship. Students can choose between Badminton, Skating, Yoga and Taekwondo.
Dance
Western & Classical both the forms are designed to introduce children to movement, music and rhythm, as well as body discipline awareness and the appropriate developmental skills for the growing child.
Each child takes part in at least one activity.
Co-Curricular programmes at Cambridge Junior range from Sports and Creative Arts, to Field Trips, Community Outreach, helping develop interpersonal, leadership and communication skills in children. Year-round literary and cultural competitions and the House system we have in place reinforce team spirit and confidence. These activities give children the impetus, in an atmosphere of constructive and healthy competition to discover individual talents, work in collaboration and to become high achievers.
Special events that mark an important place in the school calendar include Annual function, Carnival, Sports Day, Excursions, Splash pool-parties, Craft Exhibitions and Medical Check-ups etc.

Igniting Brains
‘Igniting Brains’ studio is equipped as such to support and ensure that children feel safe and free to explore and make discoveries for themselves. It is a planned system that gives an early opportunity to the students to ‘learn by doing’ using various kinds of educational apparatus. They also learn to communicate and express themselves better by storytelling and puppet theater.
